iPad is Putting Laptops Out of Business

Steve Jobs had unveiled the iPad at a conference in San Francisco in early 2010. A few people were holding the device and he asked them what they thought of it. A reporter thought that people would start to forget about needing laptops. Steve only said, "We'll see." Jobs was determined that if laptops and desktop computers did fall out of business, that Apple would reap the benefits. Apparently, the day has come for that to occur. March 19 was the day that Tim Cook announced that Apple would disburse some of its $98 billion cash stockpile as dividends. In the first week of the iPad 3 release, Apple sold 3 million of them. Apple is now the biggest PC maker in the world.

I think that Apple is definitely doing well. Their products are well made, but personally, I still like my desktop computer.
